So after the mess at the bakery, I was unemployed for a week and a half. I have been at the new job for a week and a half now. The new job is with the company that makes all of the prepackaged food stuff for fast food places and other thing (I know one day they were running seasoning for sausage). I am making $.55 an hour less than with the bakery, but this seems like a better company. I have 2 months of traning on 1st shift and then I go to second. One of the reasons I really like this job is they started spending money on me before I even started working. Since they furnish tools for every one the boss ordered me a Craftsman tool chest ($349.99) , and then on my first day handed me a Craftsman catalog and told me to pick out tools. So I did, although he changed my order a bit, instead of ordering the sockets and stuff in the smaller sets he ordered me a master set($239.99), and today I was taken to the Sears store near the plant and got another $250 dollars worth of hand tools and stuff to arrange my box with. I have also gotten a very nice high end digital multimeter (Fluke 87 at $427), and they have ordered me a $250 dollar welding mask. Not to mention the fact that they supply uniforms and the cleaning for them as well!

Any way, I was hired as a temp and they have already spent a little over $1500 on me on tools, I think they are planning on me staying on full time after my 90 days through the temp company are up, and I think I will want to stay as well. Anyway, more later, as I get to spend more of the company's money on tools.

Do they make you repay it with small deductions from your paychecks? Do you get to keep it all??
I would be rolling on them like a dog on something stinky!!!!! YAY!
